In Michael's practice located in Canberra ACT, he provides individual therapy and breathwork sessions for adults who seek relief from a range of challenging life experiences or who desire spiritual exploration and growth. 

He supports those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, hopelessness, anger, substance abuse or those looking to undertake spiritual exploration in order to live with more connection and fulfilment.

Michael continues to deepen his skills and receive professional training in attachment theory, trauma, PTSD, somatics and the integration of mindfulness, spirituality and non-ordinary state practices in order to support clients where most needed.

He is an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 certified practitioner, graduate of Gabor Mate's year long Compassionate Inquiry training course and Conscious Connected Breathwork practitioner having completed two-years of Australian Breathwork Association approved training under the guidance of Mirabai Rose.

Michael’s approach to therapy and breathwork is body-centred, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused. Mind, body and spirit are equally attended to in order to foster self-directed generative change. He fosters a sense of safety through non-judgement, compassion and curiosity, which invites all of you, including the parts often pushed away, to be seen, valued and nurtured.

Sessions emphasise listening to the signals that arise from the body in response to traumatic experiences and using the body to move through emotional distress towards a greater sense of freedom, healthy behaviours and authentic ways of being. Internal family systems parts-work as well as breathwork are the cornerstones of his approach

Michael holds a deeply rooted belief in the inherent worth of every person seeking support. He approaches therapy and breathwork with the belief that each person possesses the innate resilience and capacity for healing and growth. Michael holds a safe space where people feel free to explore their thoughts, beliefs and emotions to address mental, emotional, physical and spiritual roadblocks on the path to healing and growth.
